It hasn't been a long time since I like pen painting. Drawing illustrations basically does not draw lines, but with the works of experts who like to flip through all kinds of pen sketches and sketchbooks on Insta, they are going further and further on the way to try pen and ink.
The most interesting thing is the combination of ink illustration and tattoo. Ink drawing is a great medium for making bold illustrations, ink washes, line drawings and calligraphy. It is a fairly versatile medium that can be used to draw or paint with, as artists also use ink in printmaking applications and in conjunction with other mediums, like watercolour and coloured pencils.
